Ramsey Pre-school has a free flow environment in which the children can move freely between inside and the garden choosing the activities they want to take part in and creating their own games and ideas.

We have a lovely enclosed garden containing a large climbing frame and slide and another smaller one. Children have daily access to a large sand pit that they can get in and explore and also a messy/mud kitchen area.

We encourage lots of physical activity throughout the day and work with children on their gross motor skills and movement. We also encourage nature and learning about the environment, children enjoy helping to plant and keep plants watered, they enjoy looking for bugs and learning about habitats and names of living creatures and we care for things.
