We have a lovely indoor environment consisting of one large room with an open plan space. We regularly move the room round to change things and let the children experience different areas or role play ideas. We have a carpet area with a large smart board, we use this area for register times, small group activities, group learning and discussions and also for the children to learn basic technology skills, taking turns to play games and complete activities on the interactive board or using it to learn about different celebrations, events or things around the world. 

We also have a quiet area/book corner, home corner for role play, messy and craft activities area, construction, small world and loose parts areas. The children have access to lots of toys, games and natural resources to experiment, learn and come up with their own ideas and ways to play. Some activities are set up before the children arrive to look inviting and exciting but once the children have come in they are encouraged to choose and invent their own play. Activities can be changed depending on the children preferences and interests and sometimes they even end up expanding on something we have already set up and take their learning further.
