Our management committee has set the following aims for our pre-school:
- Our setting aims to provide high quality care and education for children primarily below statutory school age.
- We work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop.
- We offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.
- Support fundamental British values where we embrace equality, acceptance, pride within our community, incorporate beliefs and work together.
- We add to the life and well being of the community.
- We aim to ensure that each child is in a safe and stimulating environment and are given generous care and attention because of our ratio of qualified staff to children.
- We make sure each child has the chance to join with other children and adults and learn together and that they are helped and encouraged to take forward their learning and development by being helped to build on what she/he already knows and can do.
- Each child has a key person who encourages children to progress and develop, keeps up to date records of their progress and liaise with parents.
- Our setting aims to see parents as partners in helping each child to learn and develop; and encourages close working relationships with parents to shape the service it offers.
- We aim to get the children involved and familiar with their local community, which include taking them on outings to the park, churches, shops or just nature walks around the area.
- We aim to prepare the children for a smooth transition to school.
- We are aiming to achieve an Outstanding OFSTED report.
